New Homeowners from Near and Far!

Last September of 2009, our first homeowner moved into WestRidge, Thorndike Development's latest 55+ community. Almost a year later WestRidge now has 9 homeowners and 4 homes scheduled to close this year and is building homes to meet the steady increase in demand.

The bucolic setting and close proximity to shopping and highways makes WestRidge attractive to individuals looking to downsize yet still live close to area amenities.

After taking a hiatus in activity while the real estate market settled out, WestRidge has come back strong with new pricing, new products and new standards, according to Bill Mullin, chief operating officer for WestRidge’s developer. “We decided to ‘go south’ for the winter and wait for all the noise to sift out of the market and in retrospect, that was a great decision," Mullin said.

WestRidge is an active adult community comprised of 146 homes at the crossroads of Massachusetts in Hudson, MA. The community is based on Thorndike’s Red Mill Village community in Norton, MA.

How about this: The Gold Award for "Best Innovative Land Planning Design"! And, also not to be overlooked, the Silver Award for "Best Logo of the Year".

Thorndike Development is thrilled to announce that its WestRidge Active Adult community in Hudson, MA was a big winner at the 2007 Prestigious Results in Sales and Marketing (PRISM) bi-annual awards ceremony, recently held in Boston. WestRidge won in two very different categories, land planning and logo creation.
